Your tasks
  • Development of trading reports, including key performance and risk figures to steer the trading activities
  • Daily analysis of the trading portfolio position and PnL developments as well as consultations with traders and risk managers
  • Validation of the P&L calculation as well as development of further performance indicators and benchmarks in cooperation with the Risk and Front Office departments
  • Optimisation of existing reporting processes in cooperation with Trading IT; Carrying out ad hoc analyses
  • Design of the EOD process for the valuation of commodity derivatives
  • Product owner of reporting processes and support the transformation programme in the development of risk management systems and improvements in the trade lifecycle

Your profile
  • Degree in engineering, natural sciences, economic sciences or business informatics
  • several years of professional experience within an energy trading company, in risk controlling or middle office functions
  • Familiar with energy or financial markets including financial derivatives
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Sound IT knowledge, especially BI tools
  • Self directed, follows through on commitments, build trust in others and enjoy working in an international environment

About the department
EnBW's Trading business unit is EnBW's central market access point to the energy markets. We are active in key European markets and on international energy exchanges. Our Trading unit is responsible for the optimal management of EnBW's portfolio, is active in the trading of renewable energies and thus supports the Energiewende. We are also involved in future topics such as hydrogen or smart & digital in trading, as well as in new supply contracts and the management of renewable energies.  EnBW's Business Unit Trading operates with an international team with employees from more than 30 nations, represented at 4 European locations: Germany, England, Norway and Switzerland.  Take the chance and play a part in shaping the future.
